Triumph Classic Cornhole Bags — 8-Pack (12-0040-2)
Published · Researched 2026-09-21
2026 lineup note / rename disclosure: The track brief listed this candidate as "Triumph Tournament cornhole bags." No current Escalade Sports product carries exactly that name — the verified current product is the Triumph Classic Cornhole Bags 8-pack (SKU 12-0040-2), red/blue microfiber, and this dossier covers that SKU. (Escalade's current lineup also includes ACL REC/COMP/PRO stamped bags and a Texas Flag variant, SKU 12-0030-3TX — noted as alternatives, not covered here.) Do not present this file as a "Tournament"-named product.
Version lineage (2023–2026)
- Pre-2023: Triumph (Escalade Sports) sells 8-pack replacement cornhole bags in multiple fabrics: classic duck cloth, all-weather, and themed prints (Texas Flag).
- 2023–2024: Classic Red/Blue 8-pack (12-0040-2) widely available at ~$24.99; Texas Flag variant (12-0030-3TX) listed at $34.99 list / $24.99 sale.
- 2025–2026: Escalade pushes the ACL-stamped lineup (REC/COMP/PRO) as the premium tier; the Classic 8-pack remains the budget replacement set. No spec change documented for 12-0040-2.
Overview
The replacement-bag play: eight 6 × 6 in microfiber bags (4 red, 4 blue), 12.5 oz each, sold as the affordable refill for any cornhole boards — including the GoSports regulation set in this catalog. These are recreational-grade bags (not ACL-stamped, not the pro resin-fill tier), which is exactly right for camp: cheap enough that losing one to a campfire ember doesn't hurt, heavy enough (12.5 oz) to throw true. If your boards' original bags wore out or you bought a board-only set, this is the default fix.

Support & Parts
Escalade Sports (Evansville, IN) — support via escaladesports.com. Bags are consumables; the "parts" path is simply buying another 8-pack.
Community Verdict
Replacement bags are a grudge purchase and the community treats them that way: r/cornhole's advice is consistent — for backyard/camp play, buy the cheapest true-weight (12.5–16 oz) 6×6 bags you can find, and the Triumph Classic 8-pack is the name that comes up most at the $25 price point. Nobody claims they're great bags; everybody agrees they're fine bags. The step-up conversation (ACL-stamped resin bags at $40–80+) is a different sport — competitive players only. For a camp kit, these are the right grade.
