Pro Kadima Beach Paddle Set — 2 Paddles + 4 Balls Bundle (Sport Design)

Published · Researched 2026-09-21

2026 lineup note: Dossier covers the Target 4-ball bundle (TCIN 94067804, UPC 680599127199) — two 16-inch solid-wood Pro Kadima paddles plus four balls — at $21.99, sold & shipped by Paddlepro.com via Target. The classic 2-paddle + 1-ball set ($15.33–$19.99) is the same paddles with fewer balls. Pro Kadima is the licensed US brand of the Israeli matkot/kadima beach game; "Pro Kadima" (Sport Design) is distinct from unbranded kadima/matcot sets — verify branding on the paddle face.

Version lineage (2023–2026)

• Pre-2023: Pro Kadima established as the US matkot brand: 16-inch solid wood paddles, low-resilience rubber balls, neon colorways.
• 2023–2024: Bundle configurations proliferate (2+1, 2+4, paddle + replacement-ball packs); Target marketplace carries the 4-ball bundle.
• 2025–2026: Continued; a graphite "Proco" variant appears at desertcart (different product — do not confuse). No change to the classic wood set.

Overview

Matkot — the Israeli beach institution — in its US-licensed form: two solid-wood 16-inch paddles and low-bounce rubber balls, played as a cooperative rally (no net, no court, no scoring unless you want it). The 4-ball bundle is the right configuration because kadima balls get lost — in surf, in dunes, over fences — and spares are the difference between a season and a weekend. The wood paddles hit with real pace, so this is the athletic paddle game of the catalog: more workout than Jazzminton, less structure than pickleball, playable anywhere two people can stand 15 feet apart. Camp rating: elite — no setup, no court, fits behind a car seat.

Community Verdict

Kadima players are evangelists: the game has a genuine cult following among beachgoers, and the Pro Kadima wood set is consistently called the right buy over foam/cheap sets — the ball comes off the wood with the pace that makes the rally work. The 4-ball bundle specifically gets recommended because ball loss is the #1 session-killer. Critiques: the wood paddles sting on mishits, they're heavy for small kids, and cooperative-only play bores score-keepers (though competitive variants exist). For camping, it's repeatedly cited as the highest fun-per-cubic-inch paddle game — no court, no net, plays on any flat-ish ground.
