Ozark Trail Bull Creek Double Camping Hammock
Published · Researched 2026-09-21
Exact model: Ozark Trail Bull Creek Double Hammock (also sold as "Ozark Trail Tree Hammock"), 115 × 79 in, 400 lb capacity, 210T nylon, includes tree straps, steel hooks, and carry bag. Not the Ozark Trail folding hammock with stand/canopy, and not the bug-net camping hammocks.
Overview
A $10–$30 gathered-end double hammock that undercuts ENO by 3×. At clearance prices (~$10–$16) it's disposable-cheap; at the $29.95 list price it still beats everything branded. The recurring Slickdeals/clearance chatter is how most buyers find it.

Community Verdict (qualitative social pulse, 2026-09-20)
- Value pulse: deal sites keep front-paging it every summer — 21k+ views on the $10.75 deal, 32+ thumbs up. It's the canonical "try hammocking for $10" recommendation.
- Failure modes: thin 210T nylon is comfy but not abrasion-tough; straps are basic (no tree-protection width claims); steel hooks are clunky vs. carabiner systems; no bug net, no rain fly — it's a lounging hammock, not a sleep system.
- At $10, failure tolerance is total. At $30, the competition (Kootek, Anyoo) is better-finished.
Honest tradeoffs
- Price vs. completeness: you get the hammock, straps, hooks, and bag — but you still need trees 12–15 ft apart and ideally a tarp for rain.
- Sleeping overnight in it takes a learning curve (diagonal lay); most buyers just nap.
