Lifetime 77-Quart High Performance Cooler
Published · Researched 2026-09-21
Exact model: Lifetime 77 Quart High Performance Cooler, model 90903, Light Gray — blow-molded high-density polyethylene, bear-resistant design, 96-can capacity. Not the 28/55/65-qt siblings.
Overview
The roto-adjacent workhorse: thick-walled insulation, 9-day ice-retention claim, 5-year limited warranty, and a price that sits between the Igloo/Ozark Trail mid-tier and Yeti territory. The bear-resistant listing is the same 90903 chassis.

Pricing
⚠️ Prices move constantly — re-verify live before quoting.
- Walmart (Sept 2026 crawl): $164.00 (Best seller, 4.4★, ~820 reviews; also seen at $179.00 on a parallel listing). Historical deal: $30 YMMV (2019).
Community Verdict (qualitative social pulse, 2026-09-20)
- Value pulse: strong "big step up from a traditional cooler" testimony; one Rokslide user reported surviving a 2-day 86° hunt trip with crushed ice still intact despite hourly opening.
- Failure modes: weight-to-capacity ratio is poor vs thin-wall coolers (thick walls eat interior volume); heavy loaded — a two-person carry at full load; the drain is slow on some units.
Honest tradeoffs
- Vs. Yeti Tundra 75: similar retention class at roughly half the price; Yeti's hardware and warranty are stronger, but the Lifetime's 5-year warranty is real.
- Vs. Ozark Trail 73-qt: the Lifetime holds ice longer; the Ozark Trail is lighter and cheaper.
UNVERIFIED / needs live re-check
- Live cart price after the Sept 2026 crawl (seen at $164–$179 across listings).
- Real-world ice-retention vs the 9-day manufacturer claim (anecdotes exist, no lab data).
